About Me

I’m Andy Reed, a single parent, college lecturer with the University of Plymouth partner College in Camborne Cornwall, an associate lecturer with the OU, and a keen windsurfer back into the sport after a few unavoidable years out. I have not long come to the end of my studies on the MSc advanced Networks programme with the Open University, which  has kept me kind of focused for the last three years. I have a BSc in Computer Networking, a Post Grad in Education and a string of Cisco certifications to grace the walls of my office. Academically my interests are in network communications, mobile communications and network security.

In what spare time I do get I’m into hanging out with Leon, cruising around on my Predator 165, a really nice boat – and quick too, and of course windsurfing.

Enjoyed reading your blog on the Turfdog. I made my own land windsurfer and today, on my third try had a good run on it.
